1. Who we are

Podium (path2podium.org) is a student-led nonprofit initiative that provides free athletic development roadmaps, community resources, and opportunity listings for student athletes worldwide.

2. What we collect — and what we don't

Most of Podium works without an account and without sending us personal data. Your training progress on sport roadmaps (completed levels, last lesson) is stored in your browser's local storage on your own device. It never reaches our servers.

If you create an account, we store the email address and credentials you provide through our authentication provider (Supabase). We do not sell, rent, or share personal information with advertisers.

We do not run third-party advertising or tracking pixels on this site.

3. AI Roadmap Coach

When you use the AI Roadmap Coach, the messages you type (plus the sport, level, and region of the page you're on) are relayed through our server to OpenRouter, a third-party AI service, to generate a response. Don't include sensitive personal information in chat messages.

We do not store your chat conversations on our servers. OpenRouter's handling of requests is governed by its own privacy policy.

4. Donations

Donations are processed by external payment providers. Podium never sees or stores your card or bank details. The payment provider's privacy policy applies to the transaction.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use only the cookies necessary for the site to function (for example, keeping you signed in if you have an account). Our hosting provider (Vercel) may collect anonymized, aggregate performance metrics to keep the site fast and reliable.

6. Children's privacy

Podium serves student athletes, including minors. We deliberately collect as little information as possible. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information you'd like removed, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your choices

You can use almost all of Podium without an account. You can clear locally stored progress at any time by clearing your browser's site data. If you have an account, you may request deletion of your account and associated data.

8. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will be highlighted on the site.
